Beta Theta Pi is dedicated to building men of principle for a principled life. Founded in 1839 at Miami University (OH), the Fraternity was colonized at John Carroll University in suburban Cleveland, Ohio in the fall of 2007 and received its charter in August 2010. Despite its youth, the JCU chapter has already received national, regional, and university recognition in areas of academics, leadership development, risk management, campus invovlement, member education, philanthropy, and brotherhood. Beta was also named the 2008 JCU Greek Organization of the Year.
